Climbing Plan { Itinerary For Baljuri Climb }

Takeover Point Delhi/ Kathgodam

Day 1 : Travel From Delhi / Kathgodam to Song

Day 2 : Rest Day for acclimitization

Day 3 : Song-Dhakuri: Walking Time 6-7 hrs.> Song at 1400m is road head. Gradual ascending to 2300m high Dhakuri Pass requires early start as vital reason of being tired is not altitude but Sun above head. Impressive view of Maiktoli, trisul, Devtoli & Nanda Ghat from Dhakuri Pass.

Day 4 : Dhakuri-Dwali : Walking Time 6-7 hrs.> Gradual walking through village Khati 2250m which is famous for it's reach to Sunderdunga Glacier also.Dwali is 2650m.

Day 5 : Dwali-Phurkia: Walking Time 3-4 hrs.> Walking though dense jungles of Gharwal & Kumaon Himalayas is a experience of it's own type. Phurkia is at 3250m.

Day 6 : Phurkia-Pindari Glacier + Further to BC : Walking Time 3-4 hrs. + 2 hrs > Offers a unique expereince to be in company of such a massive natural body like terminal morains, erosions and huge glacial body of Pindari which is source of Pinder River.

Day 7 : Rest Day

Day 8: Opening of Camp1 : Load Ferry-we will be working along with porters to push load further up on ridge.

Day 9 : Occupying Camp1. We will be carrying our own sacks to occupy Camp I

Day 10 : Opening Camp2 . Load ferry with porters

Day 11 : Occupying Camp2

Day 13 +14 : Summit Attempt

Day 15 : Back to Base Camp

Day 16 : Back to Dwali

Day 17 : Back to Khati

Day 18 : Back to Song

Day 19 and 20 : Travel for Kathgodam and boarding train for Delhi.
